Turkana Food Recall

Turkana Food Inc. is recalling 352 cases of Floria Dried Apricots because they contain sulfites which were not listed on the packaging.


Consumers who purchase this product who may have an allergy or severe sensitivity to sulfites run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume this product.


According to the FDA the product was shipped to locations in Florida, Kentucky, Virginia, New York, New Jersey, Tennessee, Massachusetts, Texas, Illinois, Indiana, Mississippi, Rhode Island, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Maryland, Ohio, Alabama, Minnesota and California.


The product is in a 200 gram paper packaging with UPC 2539560010 lot number 440090478-15-333, with an expiration date of November 2026.


Consumers who have purchased the product are urged to dispose of or return to their place of purchase for a full refund.
