New York Yankees outfielder Jasson Domínguez made franchise history on Friday night against the Oakland Athletics becoming the youngest player to hit three home runs in a game.

Domínguez said...

"I'm not gonna lie, when I hit the third one, I was just saying, 'No way, there's no way,' but it was awesome. We have a really good clubhouse, and all my teammates were so happy for me. A three homer game, I'll remember that for the rest of my life."

Domínguez accomplished the feat at 22 years and 91 days old, beating Hall of Famer Joe DiMaggio by 109 days. DiMaggio had set the record in 1937 against the St. Louis Browns.
