Pirates Sign Heaney

The Pittsburgh Pirates have signed left-handed starter Andrew Heaney to a 1 year, $5.25million contract. 

In 32 games (31 starts) last season with the Texas Rangers, Heaney went 5-14 with a 4.28 ERA and  159 strikeouts over 160 innings.
