On May 27, 1930, the Chrysler Building in NYC was officially completed. The Chrysler Building stands at 1,046 feet tall. At that time, it was the world’s tallest building, until April 11, 1931, when the Empire State Building was completed, standing at 1,250 (1,454 to the tip of the antenna.) The current tallest building is the Burj Khalifa in Dubai at 2,227 feet tall.
