On January 20, 1945, Franklin D. Roosevelt (FDR) was inaugurated for the fourth time. This was the first and only time a President was elected and inaugurated to a fourth term. FDR was the 32nd President of the United States. FDR’s first inauguration was on March 4, 1933, besides George Washington’s inauguration on April 30, 1789, the original inauguration day. Inauguration day was changed from March 4 to January 20 in 1933.
