Mets Lose Montas for 6-8 Weeks

New York Mets manager Carlos Mendoza announced that right-handed starter, Frankie Montas will be shut down for 6-8 weeks due to a high-grade right lat strain.
Montas, who signed a 2 year, $34 million contract this offseason will travel to New York to receive a platelet-rich plasma injection to help with his recovery.
Montas had yet to throw in camp since his arrival because of the issue.
