The Winnipeg Jets have signed defenseman Neal Pionk to a 6 year, $42 million contract extension.
The deal takes the top pending unrestricted free agent defenseman off the market. Over 69 games with the Jets, Pionk scored 10 goals and 29 assists for 39 points.
