Hurricanes Acquire Rantanen

The Carolina Hurricanes have acquired forward Mikko Rantanen from the Colorado Avalanche, and forwards Taylor Hall and Nils Juntorp from the Chicago Blackhawks in a three team blockbuster trade. 

The Avalanche got forwards Martin Necas and Jack Drury from the Hurricanes along with 2025 second round draft pick and a 2026 fourth round pick. 

The Blackhawks receive a 2025 third round draft pick from the Hurricanes in the deal.
