The FDA announced a Class II recall on 3 different Comvita brand honey being sold in Colorado, Arizona, Texas, Maryland, Florida, California and Georgia.
A Class II recall means there’s a situation with the product in which use of or exposure to a violative product may cause temporary or medically reversible adverse health consequences.
The first honey product being the Comvita’s Manuka Honey and Lions Mane for Focus (355g) with codes 34828522 & 34835584 and expiration dates of January 21, 2026 & February 21, 2026.
Secondly is the Comvita’s Manuka Honey and Corduceps for Energy (355g) with codes 34828523 & 34835585 and expiration dates of January 22, 2026 & February 25, 2026.
Lastly is Comvita’s Manuka Honey and Reishi (355g) with codes 34828521 & 34835574 and expiration dates of January 21, 2026 & February 24, 2026.
Consumers are advised not to consume the affected products and return them to place of purchase for a full refund.
