Walt Disney company declared June 9th to be Donald Duck’s official birthday.
On June 9, 1934, Donald Duck made his first 7-minute appearance in the animated short “The Wise Little Hen.”
In this short, Donald annoys a hen by faking a stomachache to dodge work. Donald’s iconic voice comes from Clarence Nash’s buccal technique.
Donald then went on to star in more Disney shorts than any other character. We all love Donald’s quirky temper and original laugh.
