New York Yankees ace Gerrit Cole will miss the 2025 season after undergoing season-ending Tommy John surgery on Tuesday.
Dr. Neal ElAttrache performed the surgery.
Cole complained about elbow soreness after he allowed 6 earned runs in 2.2 innings against the Minnesota Twins in a spring training start on March 6th. He underwent diagnostic testing and then visited Dr. ElAttrache for a second opinion.
