AP Poll Released for Week 8

The Associated Press (AP) released their week 8 rankings for NCAA Football. 

The Texas Longhorns tightened it's grip on No. 1 with its 31 point rout of Oklahoma and picking up 56 of 62 first place votes. 

The No. 2, 3, and 4 spots saw some shuffling with Oregon's 32-31 win over Ohio State and Penn State's 33-30 OT win over South Carolina had both teams moving up a slot each.  With their loss, Ohio State dropped to No. 4 and Georgia held on to it's 5 spot.

1 - Texas Longhorns - 6-0, (Previous Rank - 1) 

2 - Oregon Ducks - 6-0, (3)

3 - Penn State Nittany Lions - 6-0, (4)

4 - Ohio State Buckeyes - 5-1, (2) 

5 - Georgia Bulldogs - 5-1, (5)
